Logging In

If you have been supplied with an administrative username and password, you can log in at http://mailbox.supranet.net/admin to access your domain's settings.

Adding Groups

Groups are pseudo-mailboxes that forward received mail to a group of other addresses. A common example would be sales@company.com going to the account of all sales staff. They differ from aliases by the fact that users cannot log in with a group account name.

  1. From the main menu, click "Add, delete and manage groups."
  2. Click "Add Group" from the navigation bar on the left.
  3. Enter the address you'd like mail to be sent to, ie. sales@yourcompany.com.
  4. Click the Submit button to create the group.

The group has been created, but no forwarding addresses have been associated with it. For it to be useful, you'll need to add users to it. You can find information on that in the [Modifying Groups] section.

Deleting Groups

  1. Click on "Add, delete and manage groups." from the main menu.
  2. In the list of accounts, click the trash can icon next to the name you wish to delete.
  3. Select "Delete group@somewhere.com" and click the Continue button.

Modifying Groups

  1. From the main menu, click "Add, delete and manage groups."
  2. From the list, select the group you'd like to modify. Field explanations:
    • Group Address: The name of the group address. This can be changed without affecting the associated users.
    • Is public: If a group is not set to public, only addresses who are in your domain will be able send mail to it.
    • Enabled: Enable or disable the group. Mail sent to disabled groups will be rejected.
    • Real name, Email Address, Enabled: if users have been added to this group list, they will appear here. To remove a user, click the trash can icon next to the account name. Removing the user from a group list will not delete the account.
    • Add Member: To add users to a group, select names one at a time from the drop down list and click the Submit button. You cannot add a group email address to another group email address.
  3. When your modifications are done, click the Submit button to finish.
